Carole joined Alexander Sloan as Tax Partner in January 2017 and heads our Tax Department. Prior to joining the firm she spent almost 20 years in professional tax practice with two mid-tier firms of Accountants.

A Chartered Tax Adviser, Carole is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s corporate and personal tax services.  She works with a wide range of companies and a range of not-for profit organisations such as Credit Unions and Charities.

She advises clients on the tax implications of a broad range of  issues.  Carole is also a specialist in tax investigation work, representing clients in all types of HMRC enquiry and intervention including those under the contractual disclosure facility.

Carole is supported by an experienced tax team who have been assisting Credit Unions for many years.  We have assisted Credit Unions with a range of tax issues including lotteries, employee termination payments and the tax treatment of exceptional income
