Allison Devine CA

Allison joined the firm in 1999 and quickly progressed before becoming the firm’s first female and youngest ever Senior Partner in 2017. 

Allison is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). She enjoys working with a wide variety of clients but has particular expertise in the not for profit sectors. Allison provides external audit services to a number of Credit Unions throughout the UK. In addition, she works with many charities and housing associations. She has previously served as a Trustee on a number of Charities.

One of her particular interests is in helping clients develop new finance systems and controls. She provides virtual finance manager services for a number of not for profit clients. Her clients have felt that as a result they have had a significant improvements to their reporting. The new systems have also given her client’s management and board greater assurance and confidence.

Allison is also a key member of the firm’s Technical group which oversees the quality of the firm’s work and the development of audit programmes and manuals. In addition, to regularly carrying out training for clients she has also previously provided training on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
